D.E.B. de Montreal 2015: A word from the Host

Dear Friends,

We are back from California where we had the chance to produce Dîner en Blanc - Los Angeles and after an extremely busy summer season, we can now take the time to properly thank you for the 7th Edition of Le Dîner en Blanc de Montréal.
 
As you probably know, Montreal is the launching ground for the global phenomenon that Diner en Blanc has become. It is here in Montreal where this Parisian concept was first tested and here where the organisation model was put in place.  A model that is now reproduced in more than 60 cities around the world, including 15 in Canada and close to 20 in the United States. Diner en Blanc International is proudly headquartered here in Montreal and your Diner en Blanc serves as the laboratory. It is a collective project made possible through the collaboration and support of a hundred volunteers.  It is not just an ‘Event’ but a great ‘Gathering’ of friends that has become one of the city’s most favourite summer events… Thanks to them and you!
 
On August 13th, for one night only, the energy of 5,000 beautiful people dressed in white added to the already spectacular ambiance of the Old Port! With your boundless enthusiasm, the dedication of numerous Leaders and volunteers, and the beauty of the concept, the magic of Diner en Blanc worked its charm, once again in Montreal.
